This is a difficult time for all of us, especially those with young children. With the closing of schools, we know parents are looking for ways to keep the learning going, and this is not easy to do while also trying to balance all of the other responsibilities of parenthood (all without really being able to leave the house). There is no one-size fits all approach to maintaining educational momentum and consistency, but Private Prep is committed to providing parents with up-to-date communication and resources that prioritize the education of your children and make accomplishing that goal easier in the face of external challenges.
It is with that in mind that we are pleased to announce that Private Prep is now offering individualized remote tutoring for PreK-5 students via Zoom, created from our Elementary Services Program. Though enhanced by the capabilities of an online platform, our approach will remain the same: interactive, multisensory, and creative sessions incorporating engaging academic games and activities to facilitate academic engagement, even from afar.
We know that your child’s school may offer remote learning, and we’re here to help with those assignments as well as to supplement by providing more individualized and explicit instruction. Based on your child’s needs, our qualified and experienced tutors can provide remedial, enrichment, or “maintenance” activities. We can also offer customized sessions that are designed as “clubs” in the following areas: book, writing, research, or STEAM. In addition, we offer developmentally-
