Salaried Tutor

We are looking for talented educators to join our part-time tutoring family on an hourly or salaried basis in Los Angeles. Hourly tutors are paid biweekly for the hours they work, while salaried tutors are guaranteed contracts of 300 or 400 hours for the school year and paid a salary based on those hours.  Once they hit their hours threshold, they are paid a bonus for every hour they do above that. Our company invests significant resources in providing professional development opportunities and provides a vibrant network of educators, with whom to grow alongside and share best practices.

Los Angeles tutors should have expertise in high school math and/or science, and be comfortable tackling all sections of SAT/ACT prep, and middle school test prep. Candidates should have access to a car, a bachelor’s degree, strong content knowledge and a palpable passion for education.

We offer in-person and hybrid tutoring contracts, but some in-person availability is required. Our rates depend on experience and performance in our interview process and range from $50-65/hr for in-person instruction and $35-45/hr for online instruction. A salaried contract base salary will range from  $10,500-26,000/per year depending on the amount of hours guaranteed, the amount of in-person availability offered, and the background of the candidate.

Los Angeles tutors are also reimbursed 58.5 cents per mile between their two furthest points to account for the longer distances they may need to travel to work with our students.
